When you get to the part of the level with climbing ropes, jump from the left on the shorter rope on the left. You’ll get the first star coin here.Ĭoin 2: This one is also hidden. World 3-GĬoin 1: At the beginning, run to the left. Carry it over to the right and throw it at the coin, and you’ll get it. The coin is in plain sight and you should get to it easily.Ĭoin 3: When you see a barrel, pick it up. There’s a fake wall at the bottom you can go through to get to the water and swim to the coin.Ĭoin 2: Look for the Ice Brother past the half way point. World 3-3Ĭoin 1: This one is a bit tricky to describe, but you will want to look for a platform that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom.

Either get a running start and time your jump correctly, bounce on a bullet, or use a propeller suit to get it. If you don’t have an ice suit, using a mini Mario or propeller suit may work, too.Ĭoin 3: Near the end of the level, there is a green pipe blocked off by two bricks. You will need an ice suit to freeze the plant so you can jump on the ice block, jump to grab the coin, and get to safety before the block thaws. After the half way point, you will see the coin over a plant.

As always, remember that if you do not complete the level or if you die, you will lose credit for the star coins you have collected. Once you complete the challenge of collecting all the star coins in World 3 & 4, you will be rewarded by unlocking World 9, Level 3 & 4.
